Before we arrive.

A collection goes quickly when we know what is coming off and the connection is ready. Here is what to prepare.

What to tell us

  • The waste type: waste oil, sludge, oily bilge water, used lube or hydraulic oil, sewage (brown water), or anything else you need removed
  • An estimated volume, in m³ or litres
  • Your position: berth, marina or anchorage
  • When you want it collected, and when you sail

Declare the waste accurately. If something other than oil is in a tank, tell us: it protects our crew and yours.

The discharge connection

Ships of 400 GT and above carry the MARPOL standard discharge connection for sludge and bilge lines. Smaller yachts may not have one, so tell us what your connection is.
